Guess what? As of 8/7/2026, I am back at the Strathfield property. I have been carrying out restoration work there since 1998. Additionally, twenty-eight years have passed. Since 1998, I have completed work including an extension, a carport, seventy meters of front fence, and other maintenance. Wood rots and needs mending with care, if not replaced. We identified the house as Arts & Crafts style, not Federation style. This work preserves heritage.

I undertook restoration work on the treated pine and cedar timber fence that I built in 2008.

Nevertheless, it was again heartbreaking.

I found varying wet and dry rot and, with dedication and patience, prepared this heritage project for decorative painting.
