Stormwater Management/Harvesting in Philly
Friends, in 2009 my chosen blog designer provided a game plan and a decent upfront fee. After expending AUD$, years go by so quickly, and a new blog designer disagrees thus I spent more AUD $ upfront in 2017.
Time rolls on and the blogs are judged wrong by the powerhouse. So be it, the story of my life! Simon says you must not piggyback an internet video.
As a result, today 7 November 2022 I declare the video is deleted or perhaps the video was deleted previously from this blog post. The information, however, is current and there are so many comments so I will not delete the post.
Regardless of the subject of the blog is liked. Type ‘ Cobbs Creek Green Homes Project ‘ or a relevant Boolean term into ‘YouTube’ or your selected search engine to find the relevant information. Blog on and stay safe.
Green City, Clean Waters. What we are doing here in Philadelphia.
Stormwater management is all about reducing and slowing down the flow of stormwater from our cities into the oceans of the world. I was watching the Italian news in 2021 where residents in Mondello, Sicily, Italy discharged the sewage into the stormwater system abusively they said and of course illegally but irresponsibly. The beach full of tourists was 12 times the toxic limit.
The main challenge stormwater harvesting poses is the removal of pollutants to make the water available for reuse. Stormwater harvesting is practised across the United States in Texas and other States to address rising demands as populations rise. Internationally, Australia has been a country also active in stormwater harvesting.
The residents are taking the initiative in managing and harvesting the stormwater runoff from the homes to ensure an improved cleaner creek system.
