It is a great example of removing old concrete stumps utilising a  special jack.

Always install a new fence in the correct position to eliminate disputes with neighbours – ideally obtain a  surveyor’s peg out.

If all fails take your neighbour to court, I took my neighbour to Burwood Local Court to adjudicate the position of the boundary fence, didn’t pay one cent and won. It was 2 no. court sessions with a panel of 3 no. judges each time. The ruling was my Council approved brick fence would have to be 50 mm on my neighbour’s property and 180 mm on my property.
