Forest vertical or should we say vertical forest.
It’s been done in Sydney and Milan.
Developers propose to build more vertical forests in Waterloo [Sydney] and in Paris.

People’s homes i.e. their units in multi-storey high-rise architecturally and structural engineer-designed concrete buildings have a forest on their balconies or terraces.

The plants provide:

  • shade in summer
  • oxygen
  • pollution reduction
  • nesting for birds
  • a buffer against wind
  • leaves blowing into their home even though they are fifteen metres and more off the ground.
