Global Warming/Climate Change
With increased greenhouse gas emissions and the thinning of the protective ozone layer, a series of significant changes are predicted by experts. The Earth is getting measurably warmer. The polar ice caps are melting, leading to rising sea levels which is of particular concern to low-lying countries, Islands and waterfront property owners. This is changing world weather patterns, causing new deserts to be created and record rains and storms elsewhere.
Global warming has commenced, and a little bit of this is evidenced by the naturally occurring El Niño effect. Its March 2023 and the news reports every week the El Niño effect is over in Sydney NSW, which means no more rain.
Global warming spells disaster. Low-lying places will be flooded, forcing population movements and massive disruption. Food and forest products will be affected everywhere. Resources will become scarcer and competition greater. Economies will be threatened. Such factors are likely to become devastating to humans and other life. [image source google]
