Friends, in 2009 my chosen blog designer provided a game plan and a decent upfront fee. After expending AUD$, years go by so quickly, and a new blog designer disagrees thus I spent more AUD $ upfront in 2017.

Time rolls on and the blogs are judged wrong by the powerhouse. So be it, the story of my life! Simon says you must not piggyback an internet video.

As a result, today 30 October 2022 I declare the video is deleted or perhaps the video was deleted previously from this blog post. The information, however, is current and there are so many comments so I will not delete the post.

The EcoFabulous Home was designed by Kanau Uyeyama Architect Inc. As a firm, they have been researching eco-friendly, sustainable, green and modular solutions for many years.

The Test

In 2008 they put all their knowledge to the test and designed and built the EcoFabulous Home (1000 sq.ft., 400sq.ft. deck) as the Feature Home for the British Columbia Home and Garden Show. There is a living wing (kitchen, dining, sitting) and a bedroom wing (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms).

Green  Solutions

Eco-friendly solutions included such things as 100% recycled paper with zero VOCs for kitchen and bathroom cabinets, cedar deck, siding and spa skirt, and other sustainable woods, CFLs and LEDs, and a Hydronic heating system with each radiator with its own non-electric thermostat 95% plus efficiency gas-fired condensing boiler supplemented with solar panels, integrated home control system. www.prefabuloushomes.ca [image via google]
