Friends, in 2009 my chosen blog designer provided a game plan and a decent upfront fee. After expending AUD$, years go by so quickly, and a new blog designer disagrees thus I spent more AUD $ upfront in 2017.

Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) is a type of wall-building material used in homebuilding. It’s an alternative to traditional wood-frame housing. Instead of framing the walls with studs, the walls are formed by styrofoam blocks, and the concrete is poured into those forms. Insulating concrete form or insulated concrete form (ICF) is a system of formwork for reinforced concrete usually made with rigid thermal insulation that stays in place as a permanent interior and exterior substrate for walls, floors, and roofs.  Using ICF’s – insulated concrete forms to build an eco-friendly building for energy savings, better sound resistance and fire resistance.

ICFs offer the thermal mass advantage with  70% energy savings.
