Earthship Biotecture

Friends, in 2009 my chosen blog designer provided a game plan and a decent upfront fee. After expending AUD$, years go by so quickly, and a new blog designer disagrees thus I spent more AUD $ upfront in 2017.

Time rolls on and the blogs are judged wrong by the powerhouse. So be it, the story of my life! Simon says you must not piggyback an internet video.

As a result, today 7 November 2022 I declare the video is deleted or perhaps the video was deleted previously from this blog post. The information, however, is current and there are so many comments so I will not delete the post.

Earthship focal points-  1. passive solar home made of natural and recycled materials 2. thermal mass construction for temperature stabilization. 3. renewable energy & integrated water systems make the Earthship an off-grid home with little to no utility bills.

Biotecture focal points-  1. the profession of designing buildings and environments with consideration for their sustainability. 2. A combination of biology and architecture.

Biotecture is a  combination of biology and architecture =  the profession of designing buildings and environments with consideration for their sustainability.

Earthship biotecture homes are passive solar homes made of natural and recycled materials.

They utilise thermal mass construction for temperature stabilization e.g recycled tyres and cans/bottles cemented into walls.  Renewable energy like sun and wind to make the required power is utilised and  Integrated water systems wherein rain /snow is used  4 times make the Earthship an off-grid home with little to no utility bills.

Coldwater can be created by channelling water 2.5m underground and recirculating it into the home.
