Heritage Style Restoration in Strathfield 2

At the house in Strathfield, previous owners installed expensive wallpaper in what is essentially the ballroom. Some years back, ( not sure when circa 2000) the owner ( my client) stripped off the wallpaper and found evidence of previously removed timber decoration above a picture rail. The ballroom still had a lot of fine joinery timberwork like bay window seats, alcove seating, more on the ceiling and parquetry flooring. I was commissioned to develop and install a restorative decoration above a new picture rail. Well I completed it utilising some new clear North American Oregon timber and recycled North American Oregon timber, the owner applied stained lacquer and it was as if it’s always been there.
