Heritage Style Restoration in Strathfield 4

Circa 2004, I was contacted and engaged once again by my favourite clients at Strathfield to build a 3 no. car carport ( as in Figure 1) complementing, blending in with the existing style of the dwellings’ external looks, roof configurations, and roof materials (i.e. tiles and sheet metal skillion roof with ribbed panel sectioning as in Figures 1 & 2 just below). The architect specified chunky and square 150 mm nominal-sized F7 American Oregon posts propping up the carport roof off coloured concrete. The engineer designed mild steel brackets holding the timber beams together. I with another carpenter built it.
