Noise Attenuation of dwellings 1

Noise attenuation of doors in dwellings and similar buildings can be achieved by installing a range of products made by an Australian company called RAVEN. I have personally installed them on many an occasion.
An aluminium bead that has inbuilt seals such as in the sketch is installed onto the door jamb’s sides and head. Another product known as a door bottom seal is installed as per the manufacturer’s instruction at the external bottom face of the door. When the door is closed it is fully sealed against noise and the elements.
