Friends, in 2009 my chosen blog designer provided a game plan and a decent upfront fee. After expending AUD$, years go by so quickly, and a new blog designer disagrees thus I spent more AUD $ upfront in 2017.

This is one of the good things about living in Southern AZ. We have access to some really wonderful people doing sustainable building and are willing to teach others about it. Marcia Gibbons was our hostess and she taught us how to create a mud plaster on the interior and exterior of walls, amongst other things. For anyone interested in green homes, sustainability, green living, and natural building, this video is worth a few minutes.
Mud plaster is usually done in two coats. The second coat is applied after the first coat has been set but not fully dried. Usually, the thickness of the first coat is 13 mm, and the thickness of the second coat is 6 to 7 mm. The mud plaster may finally be swept with a mixture of clay and cow dung. [image via google]
