Today is the 3rd of April 2023, well as you guys know from the Heritage Style Restoration 33 blog:

.I was back to working for my great clients at Strathfield between November 2022 and January 2023

.I first started working on thie house in 1998

.Wood rots and needs to be mended with tender loving care, if not replaced.

.In the above period I returned to Strathfield to undertake yet again the massive task of restoration work on the treated pine timber fence that I built in 2008

.With weeks of dedication, patience and hard work I got through the work on some 16 panels affected by rot

.Bottom rails cut/carved on site.

Also, the posts holding the panels between the brick columns, were carved on site as shown here in the photo. I marked the position of the rails with the templates on the bench and then cut the position with my favourite battered electric saw. Finally I checked the slots with wood chisels and mallet.
